Suzanna "Zannah" Hultén är en av Sveriges främsta vocal coaches, och idag gästade hon Förmiddag. Denna fantisktiska kvinna som vill att vi ska Carpe Diem. Nu är hon aktuell med ny singel som heter just detta. Dessutom fick hon som musikexpert hon är testa 3 nya låtar som vill spelas i radion, i programpunkten Hit eller Shit.
Det har varit underbart att vara i malmö..Men imorgon bär det av till Kristianstad och intervju med Helene Persson i " Förmiddag med Helene Persson Sveriges Radio". Och en av nycklarna är sång! När vi sjunger öppnar vi hjärtat. Tänk...Vi kan Skriva Vi kan Rita Vi kan Prata Vi kan Måla Vi kan kommunicera på alla tänkbara sätt. Varför har vi då fått sången? När vi sjunger rensar vi hjärtat från oro,sorg nedstämdhet.. När vi sjunger så plötsligt känns allt så mycket enklare och klarare Tänk på all Blues som blivit skriven Hur den kom till och hur den förändrat världen Så det är upp till oss att " Dare to Try"

“Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself”...Det tar tid att komma in till kärnan av det som är.
Benny Andersson berättade att han brukar sitta flera timmar i sin studio vid sitt piano och bara spela...låta vad som helst komma ...det kan ta lång tid innan man når in till det som är kärnan där man är sig själv. Miles Davis,trumpetaren som är en av mina stora inspiratörer säger likadant. Han brukar låta sitt band spela spela spela tills den där stunden kommer då allt börja svänga i samma frekvens.. Då börjar han spela och då uppstår något annat Allt blir magiskt!

I just got back from Peace&Love Festival in Borlänge...and is still inspired<3 the music the peaople...that the whole city really are fully into this festivl.That was really great to expierence. I was part of an event called Trigger - where we were in a paneldiscussion about music creativity and th future.We were people from the business but also artists and creators from the states and from england,sweden,australia..It was creative and inspiring.
Robyn did a great show as well as FibesOh Fibes! and I was happy to see Stephen Simmons being his beautiful self ..hanging out enjoying the scene..

Today I finally met Stig jonas Pettersson. A composer and musician - from Sweden but living in LA since 15 years...He wrote a beautiful opera from August Strindbergs Drömspel - Magical! and we spend the whole afternoon talking about music life and artistry
Going back to downtown Los Angeles in my townjeep - driving at a 8 lane highway...GREAT! full speed :D

Sitting by the pool doing morning business. Yesterday we had some good meetings - people in the business...Started out at the Equinox gym then we went to Urth Café - where a lot of ceb´s hang out - then a little shopping before business meeting at a beautiful Restaurant/Castle - couldn´t take any pictures because also there too many known people meet for privacy...Today another big meetings coming up and tonight we´ll check out some clubs to find a good place for Song Academy L!ve..<3

Happy that Eric Saade was in the swedish jury and made a nice performance in the pretalk together with Lena Ph and Niklas Strömstedt. He also was delivering the swedish votes in an nice way - giving Anna an extra eye:) To work with him is special; He is so focused - filled with love for music...wanting to know it all and is ready to go for it! An old soul I would call him:)

Time to get ready for Los Angeles... We are leaving on Wednesday to meet muscicians, artists,producers&friends! Making plans for the year to come and of course enjoy the requency of inspiration that is always there in the city of Angels the Los Angeles!

"Nu ska juryn bli elakare" I kvällens direktsändning kommer panelen att vara både hårdare och elakare.
- Deltagarna kommer att bli chockade, säger Zannah Hultén i juryn.
Tio deltagare ska bli åtta i ”Jakten på Julia” i SVT i kväll.
Förra veckan fick alla deltagare bara beröm. Nu blir det hårdare. Betydligt hårdare.
– Nu kan vi köra på riktigt och säga klart och tydligt vad som gäller. Det är så vi måste göra, det måste ju hända någonting, säger Zannah Hultén i juryn.
Orderna från SVT är tydliga.
– De har sagt att ”gör ert jobb, nu kör vi, nu är smekmånaden över”, säger Zannah Hultén.
”Måste tåla kritik” Alla snälla ord till deltagarna förra veckan menar hon berodde på att de måste hinna lära sig programformen.
– Man måste ge dem tid att vänja sig. Vill man bygga upp någon så kan man inte börja attackera med en gång, säger hon. Hur påverkar det här deltagarna?
De kommer att bli chockade. Det blir mycket känslor. Men vill man bli bra så måste man tåla kritik, ingen av oss vill vara elak bara för att vara elak, utan vi vill vara konkreta så att det händer något. Tål man inte kritik så funkar det inte, branschen är ju sån. Martin Gustafsson

Jakten på Julia!! SVT 1 - Jakten på Julia har börjat!! vilken vecka...!! vi har spelat in första avsnitten till Jakten på Julia. Det är otroligt så mycket som kan hända på 4 dagar. Vi hade 20 tjejer som kom till Juliaskolan...vi körde Intensivträning inför tävlingen som tar ut 10 tjejer från 20...och Wow!! vilken utveckling... Helt underbart! a lot of traveling right now ... Tuesday to malmö –sang with pianist Jan Lundgren very inspiring .. things are going well for him - Greatest jazz keyboardist! We always plan on doing an album ... always wants to do moore everytime we meet- so inspiring to sing with him -after a long day yesterday and time to go up: 05 ... now on the train bound for stockholm
Today ; a meeting with a web editor for SONG ACADEMY-then meeting with iLOVE Foundation then vernissage ... finally Tomorrow GRAMMY GALA:)! "Sång Pedagog" ...Vocal Coach;) ?!?
What is a "sång pedagog" doing? or a vocal coach? Swedish "Sång Pedagog" comes from the word
pedagog.. from the latin and it means; To walk with the person "by feet" " a pied " ... To walk with the person who wants to learn
how to sing– and showing the way;Teaching
the scales -standing position-support-sustained
vowels and so on. But the word;Vocal coach
has a different meaning. After been on the road as a touring singer-
musician– I started teaching voice/singing. I had the exam as a song teacher - 6 long years
of studies at the Royal Academy of Music but still when people came to me and wanted me to
"walk with them" - show them the tools - I did
most honored and happily but my main focus
was always to help the artist find his or her very special voice - the uniqeness
in the expression . Working with so inspiring people as for exempel
Robyn. Even though being very young she had
such a deep understanding of music and a clear
vision of what she heard what she wanted to
express and I coached her..We had hours of
talking where she could connect and even deeper
express her so very special talent! I saw myself more as somebody who helped
the person bringing out the talent that they
had within..As when an athlet is very talented
- they always depend on their trainer...their
coach and because of this I started calling
my way of bringing out the talent that I was

getting ready for a day in the studio... Fawni from LA is in Stockholm recording with Ari and I have been working with voice coaching :) Today we´re going to film a warm-up routine that´s special designated for her - so that when going back to LA next week she will keep the good work up:) I am going to LA later this spring and then we´re going to work on a day-to-day basis - getting her ready for live performance!! Need to go through pro tools today - to install some new plug ins. Then planning workshops coming up this month – Like one favorite; Garageband intensiv for Singers! We have a run through the basic set up the first time then 2nd time; We record each other - also your ownvoicings...The third time getting deeper into the music! It is great to record and co write with great singers! Have a beatiful Day!
